Volunteering with LINK
Do you live in the villages of Bratton, Coulston, Edington or Erlestoke? Could you spare some time to offer transport and support to a person in need?
The Four Villages LINK Scheme is always looking for people to support our service as a volunteer. Volunteering is a great way to stay active, meet new people and help vulnerable and isolated residents in your community. Volunteering roles* include drivers, coordinators and committee members.
We can offer you training, an induction and access to our Volunteer Portal with information and guidance to support you in your volunteer role. We will also reimburse volunteer drivers for mileage and travel expenses incurred through their role as a volunteer.
We are looking for:

Volunteer Drivers
Volunteer Drivers collect clients from their home and take them to medical appointments, social visits and other essential trips. A mileage allowance and out of pocket expenses are paid to Volunteer Drivers.

Link Coordinators
Link Coordinators are responsible for answering calls from clients and liaising with our team of Volunteer Drivers. Link Coordinators may need to prioritise requests for help with transport, depending on volunteer numbers.

Committee Members
There are a variety ways volunteers can be involved with helping to organise and oversee our service, supporting volunteers and maintaining links with other community and volunteer organisations locally.

We are always looking for new volunteers to support LINK. If you want to meet new people, make friends and give something back to your community, we want to hear from you!
